Hello!
I am a photography student based in Santa Barbara, CA. I'm in Tucson until the 31st working on a photo essay about outdoor enthusiasts in the area. I'm photographing individuals and groups engaged in their outdoor pursuits of choice as well as their preferred meeting spots/hangouts etc. I would like an opportunity to photograph some mountain bikers meeting/preparing for/ and riding. If any individuals or groups are meeting up to ride this week/weekend and would be interested in doing this, please be in touch. It would be a fairly quick and unobtrusive shoot, mostly just you doing what you do and me hanging around taking your picture while you do it. I would be happy to compensate your time by providing some JPGS for your personal use. Look forward to hearing back!

me and some buddies have a new freeride spot in town if you looking to add some wild to your photos. We have some big jumps and such in the works |

@mlemen- Thanks for the headsup! Tomorrow morning I'm shooting rockclimbers, actually. If you go out another day, please let me know.
@BikerDodd- That sounds pretty cool! When do you think you'll be there?
Would still love to hear from anyone and everyone else planning on biking this week/weekend (except Tuesday a.m.)

If this is a legit spot that's cool with the landowner, awesome - that's progress. Have a blast!
If this is a secret place, please keep it a secret - we don't need Hemorrhoid 2. This will be hard to do if a photographer is out documenting the action . . . I'm just saying. Work it out amongst yourselves and good luck! Hope we get to see wild stuff. |

@mlemen - I understand your concern about keeping the location quiet, and let me offer my reassurance- though I am photographing, I am not disclosing specific location information (only 'Tucson, AZ'). Furthermore, if it is of great concern to keep the location under wraps I will take all precautions neccesary to do so. I don't want to ruin things for anybody, just get some sick action shots. = ) |
