June 2nd is National Trails Day so we are planning that for our TLC event. Just starting to get details but the plan will be to work Crystal Springs Trail on Mt. Lemmon. It has been very overgrown the last few years and needs a hefty dose of TLC. More details to come as we get closer. Mark your calendars.

Updated details:

Meet at Le Buzz at 7 AM. From there, we will figure out carpooling options and head up to the trailhead. For folks who are interested, there may be an opportunity to do a shuttle to get deeper into the trail, so bring your bike. This will depend on how many show up... The trail is EXTREMELY overgrown, so the project will be brushing and maybe some tread restoration.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM sonoranbiker. Please plan on a full day outside, and dress and pack appropriately (water, food, sunscreen, gloves, etc). Bring loppers if you have them; if not, SDMB has tools to lend.

See everyone on Saturday!

Definite maybe. Have friends visiting from out of town that weekend.

Bummer...

Just so everyone is aware, this SDMB TLC work is still on as of now, unless we have forest closures between now and then. Fingers crossed we won't.

BV will be editing the post with specific details and Evan Piling will be leading the charge.

See you all that can make it, tell your friends. We want 10-15 at least.

Cheers!

Update:

The National Trails Day project is still on, and we would love for everyone to come out and give some love to Crystal Springs Trail on Mt. Lemmon.

The meeting time and place have changed.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me. Please plan on a full day outside, and dress and pack appropriately. Bring loppers if you have them; if not, SDMB has tools to lend.

See everyone on Saturday!

PS - If you can't make this, being that it is National Trails Day feel free to give your favorite trail some loving.

Should think about cross posting these trail days over in the rides forum as I rarely one over here.
