I was just reading an old Bike Magazine it was saying a bike had a Fox RL 32 and that was it's only problem they suggested a Talus or a RL34. Are the stanchions too small on RL 32? I've been looking at Stump Jumpers should I be looking for Enduros with a larger Fork? I'm hoping to get something I can go on the Shuttle Runs with T.O.R.C.A. I already have a XC Bike.

I'm sure Suvlako will have a 2015 Specialized DH bike with fat stanchions for sale soon

IMO Enduros with a beefy stanchion fork is the way to go for Tucson riding. Especially if you want to be running shuttle type ride. Plus the Enduros do well enough to be xc bikes for the most part. Not sure about the specifics of the RL32 though.

I found a black one in Flag staff worried it will burn me in the summer.

This looks cool!

It depends on your type of riding style. A 32 rl is fine for average riding for people of average weight. More important is total travel, 5-6 inches is great for Tucson trails if you aren't a competitive racer. Thicker forks are stiffer and better for heavier riders that want to bomb steep technical trails. A fox 36 will have a weight penalty but feel stiffer. Newer bikes with longer travel will have 34 mm stanchions as that is the new marketing strategy (ie 27.5 is 4% bigger). They are a whopping 15% stiffer.

Not a factor in a purchase decision in my opinion, although I prefer fox 36 due to my preference to ride steep trails and have a fat ass.

That enduro you linked is a overkill for Sweetwater, perfect for Milagrosa.

These look like good all around trail bikes for Tucson:

Thanks for taking a look.
1st one is a frame set only
2nd is a Med I'm 6' tall I think I need a Large it's a med
3rd is more cash than I have only $1,500 Budget now.

I got the guy in Flagstaff down to $1,800 on the 2011 Enduro comp.
I've tried to get a guy in Phoenix to let me take a look at a 2011 Stumpjumper Comp but he has not given me a time to come up and look at it. It's got a Revalation RL. within my budget.

so a RL 32 is OK for a 180 lbs.?

Do ya think the Revalaton is ok at 140mm?
