Hi, all,
I'm passing on a friendly request to keep the noise (voices) down while riding up and down the gravel power-line easement rode that runs North from Rancho Vistoso Blvd between Honeybee Canyon Estates and Sun City.

The road runs right by many residents' back yards, and voices do carry. As many of us have found out, there are some residents who just don't like bikes, and we cannot please them all. But more reasonable ones will accept us if we are not creating a problem for them.

I can relate this the Sweetwater trailhead, which is near many homes, and has signs requesting keeping the parking lot noise down for the residents' sake.

Thanks for the reminder, tommct!

We will get this posted up on Facebook as well. TMTB is a great way to get the word out to the MTB community, and also feel free to reach out to SDMB (SDMB.org) with any concerns or issues that come up. Hank Rowe, one of our board members, has had extensive contact with Oro Valley PD and has been trying to make contact with the HOA up there to help resolve access issues.

Feel free to contact me via email (trailsteward@sdmb.org) or on Facebook.

Cheers!

Good luck with the HOA! If they are anything like mine in Dove Mtn. they are a bunch of petty bureaucratic muppets with national socialist tendencies...
