What kind of bike are you thinking about taking? A all mountain 5-6" bike will be best.

DH bike would be fun for a little ways....But probably not worth it for the climb up the Gap. If you have a choice, leave it at home for this one

There's someone out there that's done it on a rigid, but, >120 travel and <30 lbs is more fun... I think

No this is not a dh friendly trail unless you like climbing on your dh bike. There is a 3 mile long road climb midway thru the ride which is not very easy.

Great ride yesterday! Props to all who did trail work on this one, route finding was so much better than from previous rides. Can't wait for the next one.

This was a Awesome ride, next time I'm going to ride the 3mile climb, hiked most of it,gotta work on extended hill climbs.
