Just want to report that on Friday my bike was stolen off my car rack (locked to it ) at Banner South Campus. It's a black 2013 Niner Jet RDO. reverb dropper and easton xc90 front wheel. Posted it stolen up on Craigslist and just got a response from a guy who lives over on park and broadway and said a sketchy guy approached him needing a wrench to change a pedal (probably taking my clipless off to put on flats). When this good samaritan asked if it was his bike, the dude told him to f*** off and rode away.

I'm still waiting to see if security cameras caught this guy on tape stealing it off my truck but am not hopeful, so already have filed an insurance claim.

please keep your bikes safe, (extra lock on rack), or take inside as much as possible.

David,
That's horrible. i know how you feel. I had two garage break-ins with 4 bikes stolen, including a Trek Superfly 100 Elite and a Santa Cruz Tallboy 2.
Report to police, give them serial number, check Craigslist and pawn shops, also there's online sites for reporting stolen bikes. Good luck.
Dom

Thx Dom, Never feels good to be the victim of theft, especially when its a loved bike!!! Luckily, insurance is going to reimburse me a few bucks and i've already started shopping for a replacement bike. meanwhile, i continue to check pawn shops and craigslist. i have a feeling the stolen bike will surface eventually.
