I run 32/20 its not bad going up the road for me. 33/19 shouldn't be that bad for the majority of the climbing. |

The verdict: 33/19 is a little tough for doing the whole Lemmon climb on a loaded bike. When I was rolling I was cooking super hard though. We're talking gapping super-loaded-Max/untrained-super-loaded-roadie-Chad by 5 minutes from Molino to almost-Bugs trailhead. Sustainable pace? No, not sustainable at all. Little hard on the knees, definitely moving to 32/20 (that way I don't have to goof with the chain). |
