Pima County NRPR needs a little help at Robles Pass. The sign has apparently fallen over at the intersection of Camaro
Loop/360 Vista/Sunset trails, and they asked us to help put it back in. Ideally, all you would have to do is dig out the existing hole, put the sign in, and tamp down rock and dirt around it. Worst case scenario is you have to dig a new hole. Tools needed would be a rock bar, pick-mattock, and maybe a shovel. If you need tools, let us know and we can provide them. The closest parking to walk in would be from the end of Irvington Place.

If anyone is able to help out with this, just reply on our Facebook page that you're on it and then post up a before/after pic on our Facebook page. As a thank-you, SDMB will send you your choice of a trucker cap, t-shirt, or flask. Questions? Post up here, or email us at trailsteward AT sdmb.org.

Thanks!

I heard that someone verified that it was actually a Firebird and not a Camaro.

But there's not a song called "Bitchin' Firebird."

Did anyone clean up the Saguaro down across the trail? I found a large Saguaro possibly hit by lighting (Black stinky) as I rode up from the 4' Culvert. I don't even know how to clean it up. Cross cut saw?

You can use a regular hand saw to cut it, or you can use a rock bar to roll it off the trail.

It was like 3 feet thick after a week or two it's significantly smaller looks like some peps are just hopping over it. Correction it's on ledge surfer.
