I got out to the new section at Starr Pass today. I like the new trail it's still loose and it's off camber but that should shed water well. I got caught off guard with my seat up over one of the rock gardens, this trail is easier with your seat down a little. I got a little scared over one small drop that seemed like a potential OTB spot but I got thru it with out incident. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out on this new section!

Glad you like it! It will settle in with some riding and some rain, and we didn't want to make it too easy...

The new trail will continue across inside the park boundary higher up on the flank of the ridge, eventually working it's way up to near the top of Goat Hill. The current section that goes down to Sarasota is just a connector, with the main trail splitting off higher up and continuing west. Our understanding is that the gate at the SW end of the dirt rd. will stay open, as it is a popular access point for folks from the neighborhood

Yes! Really nice job on the new trail. My son and I rode it last weekend. Very impressive work.
